One of the great heavy metal vocalists, Tim “Ripper” Owens, came down for his solo Australian tour. He is probably best known for replacing Rob Halford in the band Judas Priest (and inspiring the movie Rockstar, starring Mark Wahlberg). Playing in Perth at the Amplifier Bar, Ripper Owens delivered a great night and we were treated a spectecular display of his iron pipes! – I’m talking about his singing of course. Also featuring Perth rock bands Emerald City and Diamond Eye as supports.
